The AFC side of Wild-Card Weekend is officially in the books.
The Houston Texans, Buffalo Bills, and Baltimore Ravens won their respective games in impressive fashion and have earned the right to advance to the Divisional Round. The Texans will hit the road to take on the Chiefs while the Bills will host the Ravens.
The NFC side of the bracket features the Washington Commanders traveling to face the No. 1 seed Detroit Lions while the No. 4-seed Los Angeles Rams will take on the No. 2 seed Philadelphia Eagles.
Washington is the only lower seed to win the wild card round, making for some interesting odds for this weekend's games!

Chiefs fans will feel confident heading into this matchup. These two teams played not long ago on December 21st with the Chiefs winning in comfortable fashion with a final score of 27-19. Kansas City will be well-rested in this game with their starters getting two weeks off ahead of the Divisional Round.
The last time these teams played in the postseason was in the Wild-Card Round of the 2019-2020 season. The Texans got off to a 24-0 lead early in the first half but the Chiefs stormed back to win by a final score of 51-31.

People may forget the Ravens and Bills faced each other in Week 4 of the regular season Baltimore steamrolled Buffalo, beating them by a final score of 35-10. Not only was the final score lopsided, but the Ravens averaged a blistering 7.9 yards per play throughout the game.
Will we see a similar outcome in the Divisional Round? It's important to note the rematch is in Buffalo whereas the Week 4 meeting was in Buffalo.

Washington is the first lower seed to advance to the divisional round, kicking a field goal (that doinked in) as time expired.
The Commanders have opened up as 8.5-point dogs in the divisonal round, but they are 5-2-1 against the spread as underdogs this season.
Detroit is coming off a bye and hoping to be a little bit healthier after some injuries late in the regular season. Oddsmakers are buying the Lions in this matchup, not only setting them as favorites in this game, but as the favorite to win the Super Bowl this season as well.

The Rams dismantled the Vikings on Monday night, but they find themselves as road underdogs against a stout Eagles defense in the divisional round. Philly dominated the Green Bay Packers and Jordan Love on Sunday, and Jalen Hurts is now a perfect 3-0 straight up and against the spread at home in the playoffs in his career.
That being said, the Rams improved to 6-4 against the spread as underdogs this season, although Sean McVay’s squad is just 1-2 as a road underdog. There is Super Bowl experience on both sides, which should make this an interesting matchup.
