Senne Lammens has quickly adapted to life at Manchester United since his deadline-day move from Royal Antwerp, with the Belgian praised for his calm presence and maturity in training. However, despite impressing behind the scenes, the 23-year-old goalkeeper is still waiting to make his debut under Ruben Amorim, and it remains uncertain when that chance will arrive.
Lammens yet to make Man Utd debut
Manchester United swooped late in the summer window to secure Lammens after turning away from Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez. The Belgian Under-21 international completed his move on deadline day, describing it as a "dream come true" and the start of "something special". Despite his arrival, Amorim has kept faith in Turkey international Altay Bayindir as his starting goalkeeper.

note that Lammens has impressed coaches in training and is taking his new surroundings in stride. He has already moved out of temporary hotel accommodation, which staff view as a positive step in his settling process in England.
There is no belief he has done anything wrong so far, but Manchester United signed him with the long-term future in mind and remain cautious about throwing him straight into high-pressure Premier League fixtures.
Amorim looking to ease the Belgian into the side
Lammens was outstanding in the Belgian Pro League last season, playing 30 matches, keeping seven clean sheets and making a league-high 173 saves.
His four penalty stops were the most across Europe's top ten leagues, further underlining his potential. Amorim has praised his ability but stressed the need for experience in the current moment, calling the Premier League "a different league, different country, different ball."

Manchester United fans are now waiting to see when Amorim will hand Lammens his first appearance. With games against Brentford and Sunderland on the horizon, there is speculation that he could be given a chance to prove himself. Until then, Bayindir remains first choice, and Lammens will need to bide his time before making his Old Trafford bow.
