At this stage of the season there are always managers and players who are likely candidates of a move away from their club. Whether it’s based on poor performances or even very positive ones which catch the eye of bigger clubs, it continues to serve up a good helping of candidates who are likely to be caught in two minds as to whether to stay and hope for a better future or cut their losses and start fresh.
It might be a little coincidental that there are a couple of strikers who still find themselves struggling with their new sides. Similarly large fees, a new style of play, and a rut that seems equally unforgiving. Players out of position producing very little, players who have exceeded almost everyone’s expectations and are now coveted by every other major side, and a veteran striker who has gone from hero to zero in less than a year.
Very few surprises at those included in this list, but all with varying degrees of reason as to why they could be contemplating a move away from their club.
