According to The Sun journalist Alan Nixon, Wolves winger Jordan Graham could be about to head for the exit door at Molineux once again with one club interested in clinching him before deadline day.
What’s he said?
There are just a few days left in the January transfer window as Old Gold boss Nuno Santo looks to strengthen his senior side, but it’s believed there could be a departure too.
Rarely-seen winger Jordan Graham is wanted by League One outfit Gillingham in a possible loan move for the remainder of the season.
Nixon tweeted:
Time to part ways?
If this move comes off, it will be the 24-year-old’s fifth loan move at Wolves and his eighth of his career, having been at Midlands rivals Aston Villa before making the switch across the border in 2015.
The left-midfielder has only made 17 first-team appearances in that time, scoring one goal as well as providing eight assists with his last match coming in the 2017/18 Championship season.
Graham has never been able to get his name back into the senior fold ever since tearing his knee ligaments against Cardiff City, so it would probably be wise to part ways with him sooner rather than later in order for him to get his career back on track.
Another loan move is hardly going to do the club any good as he’s not going to be in Nuno’s plans regardless of what happens. He’s merely going to be put in the shop window.
Who is that?! Nobody has been able to name the teams all of these obscure managers were once in charge of…
His contract is due to expire in the summer, which poses the question, should the club try and come to a mutual agreement now? Graham could secure himself a better long-term deal if he was a free agent.
And in other news, Wolves are hoping to wrap up major first-team signing before Friday’s deadline
